Christophe Colomb

The Zenith Christoph Colomb is a hand wound, 36,000 VpH, 45-jewel that features a gyroscopic system that ensures perfect positioning of the regulating organ. It consists of a cage with 10 conical geared wheels and 6 ball bearings featured in a glass dome. Based on a previous design the large escapement sits on a Cardan suspension, just as the compass on Christopher Columbus's ship did.
