Santos De Cartier

The Cartier santos was first designed by Louis Cartier in 1904 for his friend Aberto Santos-Dumont. The reason for the watch was so that Alberto could know the time without loosing control of his flying machine. It was one of the 1st modern wrist watches and the strap was an integral part of the design hence the heavy lugs so there was no formal break. The santos range is a true classic iconic watch.
