Ingenieur
The IWC Ingenieur was developed in the 1970s by the world famous Gerald Genta the concept came from a divers helmet. It featured the screw down bezel. The IWC Ingenieur is a professionals watch designed with a soft iron core to eliminate magnetic effects. In the 1970s innovations such as quartz oscillators helped improve accuracy and in 1985 titanium materials entered the Ingenieur collection. In 2007 the extra large 51113 calibre and 7day power reserve allowed for an extremely precise chronograph watch.
