Breitling Blackbird from the Windrider series is a special series designed for the Chronomat. It is a pilot’s watch named after the aeronautical designer Kelly Johnson’s aircraft, the Blackbird SR-71. The Blackbird watch is famous for its excellent features and functionality. It has an elegant sporty design with its large aperture date window with split indicators. It has a COSC Certified Chronometre auto chrono movement. Breitling manufactured the first Blackbird models with the intention to create a “stealth” version of their Chronomat. It has a brushed finish as distinguished from the polished finish of the standard Chronomat.
