The Datograph has the patented outsize date and the world’s first chronograph with a fly back and a jumping minute counter. The Datograph can stop an event for as long as 30 minutes with 1/5th of second accurate. The flyback instantly resets the chronograph to zero when in used by pressing the “push-in-piece” in the casing. When released, the timing begins eliminating the stop-and- begin cycle when starting a new measurement.

The hour and minute hands are of rhodiumed gold while blued steel is used for the other dials. It also has a tachometer scale. The Datograph is available in platinum and 18-karat pink gold with a hand-stitched crocodile bracelet with a matching gold or platinum clasp. The caseback’s sapphire crystal displays Lange’s L951.1 movement.
